GW-USB-13 is a generic equipment, i.e. the hardware is fixed and the user can realize specific functionality by software only. The GW is intended for serial production and this DS set offers all needed for easy development of the GW applications.
Demo application
Sample C program for the MCU inside the GW. It can be used as a template for any GW application. Commented source codes illustrate the usage of the following functions:
- OLED display (rolling menu)
- USB (communication with PC demo application)
- EEPROM (storing and reading the GW setup)
- TR module (writting to the communication buffer in the module
- Accumulator voltage (A/D conversion and voltage displaying)
- Piezo buzzer (acoustic indication, predefined tones)
- Sleep mode (to minimize power consumption)
- Pushbuttons (menu control)
USB communication
USB communication is based on the free USB stack v2.3 by Microchip. MICRORISC VID and PID are available just for development of user applications. For final products all users have to use their own VID / PID. They can be provided by the GW manufacturer.
The MCU demo SW converts data between USB and SPI for the TR module.
Wireless communication
The standard IQRF E07-SPI example is suitable for the demo as an interface to the GW MCU. The user can freely add any RF communication.

Necessary options
